Hi Team!

Who wants a good workout and dance at the same time?! Work up a sweat, raise awareness and money for Somalia at the same time!!! We are collaborating with the Iranian Graduate Student Association for there Zumba event tomorrow, September 30th in ICT 114 from 5-7 PM.

“… Let’s have some fun and dance together to raise fund for helping drought victims in Somalia! No experience required! Come have fun and learn how to dance Zumba, you won’t even notice you’re exercising! A Zumba instructor will also be present at the venue!

“The most severe drought in decades is threatening the lives of more than 10 million people — especially young children — in the Horn of Africa. Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia are the worst affected. World Vision is responding by providing emergency food and health care, and by meeting other urgent needs for children and families in the Horn of Africa.”

Admission fee for this event is $10. The revenues of this event will be donated to drought victims in Somalia through Unicef Canada (http://www.unicef.ca/portal/SmartDefault.aspx?at=2727). We’ll be spreading brochures at the door about the cause and how you can make your donations. Should you need any further information, please send an email to event@IGSA.CA. We look forward to meeting you all on September 30th in ICT 114 at 5 PM.”

We have enough volunteers for this event, BUT it is going to be a really fun event that is supporting a great cause (one of our own)!.

Thank you Iranian Graduate Student Association!!!
